Foodie Guide to the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

Get ready to sip, savor, and stroll across six continents at the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! YES, it’s time, once again, to celebrate the best in global food and drink at our longest festival ever starting July 15!

This year’s festival will be understandably different from what it was in the past. What has not changed is our chefs’ focus on authenticity through ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation to honor the diverse global cuisines. And our beverage team has, once again, thoughtfully paired wine and beer with selections at each marketplace for the perfect sip.

There are more than 20 festival-exclusive marketplaces and discover all the family fun activities like the return of Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt; entertainment including the merry Mariachi Cobre and the rhythmic JAMMitors crew; plus, a peek at the limited-edition 25th anniversary merchandise for purchase.

Disney Cruise Line Takes #1 Spots in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Cruise Line Rankings for the Seventh Year in a Row

bdcl1

For the seventh year in a row, Disney Cruise Line has earned number one spots in the Best Cruise Lines for Families and Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean categories of the U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Cruise Line rankings.

These annual rankings celebrate the very best of the best and recognize how our fantastic teams continue to outdo themselves each and every year. In the words of our Disney Cruise Line President Jeff Vahle, “The energy and enthusiasm our Crew Members bring to their roles is the driving force behind why Disney is such a trusted name in cruising.”

U.S. News & World Report rates more than 150 cruise ships based on an analysis of expert and user opinions that factor in traveler type, overall cruise ship quality, reputation in the industry, types of itineraries, approval ratings and more.

There is so much passion and planning that goes into creating the perfect ocean-going vacation for each member of the family, but what is the best thing about a Disney cruise for you? Is it seeing the Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theater or splashing along our amazing “water coaster” at sea? For me, it’s watching the waves roll in from the comfort of a swaying hammock at our island paradise, Disney Castaway Cay. And, I will never miss an opportunity (and you shouldn’t either) to indulge in a delicious brunch at Palo, our chic adult-exclusive restaurant.

Hope to see you around the ship real soon!

Since we first set sail in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has delivered incredible family vacation experiences that combine the magic of Disney with the wonder of exploring different parts of the world. From Broadway-style productions inspired by classic Disney tales and dedicated spaces for kids and adults to signature dining and spa experiences, Disney Cruise Line offers something for every member in your family. For a full list of this year’s U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Cruise Line rankings, visit U.S. News 2020 Best Cruises Guides.

Magic Kingdom Park Attractions Get an All-New Holiday Twist for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

xjuly1

It’s time for Christmas in July! Although it may be a bit too warm out for sweaters and Santa hats, it’s the perfect excuse for us to give you the gift of exciting new Disney Parks news. For the first time ever during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select Magic Kingdom attractions are receiving special enhancements just for the holidays!

When you get behind the wheel on the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself cruising a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor. The crew at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is putting some “Ha Ha Ha” in their “Ho Ho Ho,” with a new show for everyone visiting the Monster World during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Space Mountain launches you on a trippy jaunt through the cosmos, filled with dazzling lighting and high-energy holiday tunes, and Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland becomes a wild and wacky Christmas party, as you spin your teacups to one of four new holiday combos of lights and music.

All this is in addition to the brand new “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show, debuting this year. And there are plenty of returning favorites like “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas,” Club Tinsel, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade”, not to mention sparkling décor, complimentary treats and a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.

Treat someone you love to a Christmas in July surprise, and get tickets today for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The party starts at Magic Kingdom Park on November 8 and is offered select nights through December 22, 2019.
