Its February already and Valentines days is right around the corner! There’s no wrong way to celebrate and with shopping and sweet treats, the possibilities for a perfect Valentine’s Day are endless at Disney Springs.

If you’re in need of some gift ideas, here is a list of sweet shopping spots you can’t miss. Have you seen the new Disney nuiMOs collection and Minnie’s new park-ready dress with a matching mini backpack by Loungefly that debuted on Feb. 1.

Spread the love from Pandora Jewelry with adorable Mickey and Minnie bracelet charms and rings. At ALEX AND ANI, discover vibrant new bangles and stackable sets that fill their hearts with joy.   • Jaleo by José Andrés – Celebrate and enjoy a taste of Spain with the Chef’s Tasting Experience For Two plus decadent specials on Valentine’s Day for $95 per person. Special menu additions for the evening include seared scallops, fried shrimp, pork ‘canelones’ with béchamel sauce and berry soup with cheese ice cream.
  • Terralina Crafted Italian – On Valentine’s Day, enjoy Chef Justin’s special pre-fixe menu for two featuring Spicy Shrimp Scampi, Braised Bone-In Short Rib with wild mushroom and fennel risotto, and tiramisu for $90 per couple. (Add a bottle of Villa Sparina Rose for $30.) No discounts or substitutions.  
  • The Edison – Enjoy an evening of industrial gothic elegance, live entertainment, paired with decadent dishes such as melt-in-your-mouth filet, a New York strip cooked to perfection, and indulgent desserts including a rich red velvet cheesecake and the signature DB “Clothesline Chocolate Covered Candied Bacon.” Available Feb. 12-14.
  • Sprinkles – New this year is the Valentines Red Velvet Cupcake with a romantic twist on the classic red velvet in southern-style light chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and topped with Luck in Love sprinkles by Fancy Sprinkles. Available Feb.1-14. The classic Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cupcake also returns Feb. 1-28 featuring a Belgian dark chocolate cake topped with luscious raspberry frosting.  
  • YeSake – Make a sweet stop at Yesake and try the new Chocolate Cherry Boba Tea served with heart shaped sprinkles and chocolate chips. Available Feb. 1-28.
  • Vivoli il Gelato – The Love Potion returns and is sure to hit the sweet spot with vanilla gelato, Fanta strawberry, whipped cream, sugar rock candy and sprinkles. Available through Feb. 18. 

Reservations are strongly recommended. Your favorite sweet spots including Amorette’s Patisserie, The Ganachery, and Marketplace Snacks are also serving up limited-time delights for Valentine’s Day.

A day or evening isn’t complete at Disney Springs without an amazing experience and there are two that I always recommend. The Aerophile Balloon Ride will soar you high in the sky with a breathtaking, 360-degree view of Walt Disney World Resort (Tip: We recommend calling ahead (407) 938-9433) to check on availability as this experience is weather permitting.) You can explore Disney Springs by water as well in a Vintage 1960s Amphicar Ride at The BOATHOUSE where you’ll take a 20-minute captain-guided tour.

Brand New Lion King Merchandise and Scavenger Hunt Starting on July 19

We are celebrating “The Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, photo opportunities featuring dimensional backgrounds and “Rivers of Light: We Are One,” the reimagined show introducing additional, stunning imagery and familiar animal characters from Disneynature films, along with a colorful tapestry of classic moments from Disney animation.

And today, we have a first look at new merchandise and a unique experience starting on July 19 inspired by the animated classic that we all love!

A new Dooney & Bourke collection will be available at Mombasa Marketplace and Discovery Trading Company. The collection includes a satchel, crossbody and tote with a pattern featuring beloved characters such as Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa. These handbags will be available to guests on July 19 while supplies last.

In addition to merchandise, starting on July 19, all guests will be able to experience a new scavenger hunt in Africa themed to “The Lion King.” Some of your favorite characters are hidden around Harambe Village. Each time you spot one, add the corresponding sticker to your map. The map will be available at Outpost, Discovery Trading Company, Island Mercantile, and Mombasa Marketplace. Whether you choose to hunt for all the carvings or not, return your map to Mombasa Marketplace in Harambe or The Outpost Shop in the Oasis by September 28, 2019 or while supplies last for a savanna surprise.

First Look Inside the Reimagined World of Disney Stores

Yesterday Disney Parks Blog shared two new collections arriving at the reimagined World of Disney stores in the Downtown Disney District in California and Disney Springs in Florida. As the projects near completion and the locations prepare for their grand re-openings next week, they want to provide you with a first glimpse of the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney. Check out the video below!

The reimagined World of Disney stores are being transformed into contemporary, distinctly Disney retail environments. The result will inspire guests with an unmatched selection of new products in a unique, dynamic setting. In addition to improved store layouts, new design elements will make guests feel like they are in an animator’s studio, paying tribute to Disney’s rich animation history.

While exploring the shop, guests will discover classic draftsman desks with character animation sketches by Disney Legends. Photographs of animators, including Walt Disney’s original animators, known as the “Nine Old Men,” are displayed on large corkboards.

It wouldn’t be a distinctly Disney creation without moments of Disney magic sprinkled throughout the shop. While guests have to wait until the grand reveal to experience the magic for themselves, these immersive surprises will spotlight classic Disney storytelling in new ways.

Amid these enhancements, one thing remains the same: the unparalleled guest service provided by Disney cast members. The World of Disney cast will be sporting new looks consisting of modern-fit jeans and plaid shirts with iconic Mickey Mouse silhouettes.

In addition to the design elements, the shops will feature a new way to bring home treasured souvenirs and memories from Disney vacations—in specially designed, reusable merchandise bags featuring classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck. The World of Disney stores are the first merchandise locations throughout Disney Parks to offer these bags for $1, which are also environmentally friendly—made from 80% recycled materials. They will help contribute to the company’s broader goal of significantly reducing its use of single-use plastics by mid-2019.

While both World of Disney shops are currently open for guests, the grand reopenings are slated for October 26 in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort and October 27 in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort.
